Alright I’m a little rusty on this whole blog thing, so give me a couple weeks to get in my bag.
This CFB slate is amazing. Nothing better than a Saturday relaxing on the couch and… wait… what is that? Oh…. I have to go to a State Cheer Competition at 11:00 to support my family? Sick.
Guess I’ll be monitoring Hulu Live (not sponsored yet) and ESPN during the early slate. Just pray that I get home in time for the big games later on.
Ohio State @ Rutgers
There is no denying that OSU really only has one thing left on the schedule after victories over Notre Dame, Penn State and Wisconsin.
Clearly we want to avoid any lookaheads, but these next few weeks need to be solely focused on changing signs, staying healthy and developing McCord. WE NEED 1 MINUTE LEFT IN THE ND GAME MCCORD BACK.
I have been a HUGE fan of the unders for OSU lately & Vegas has caught on. The O/U is set at 42.5 which would’ve been laughable for most Ryan Day era Buckeyes teams.
I thought long and hard on this one, but I am HAMMERING the under again. McCord isn’t 100% & Rutgers contributed only 20 total points when facing real challenges like Wisconsin and Michigan.
Pick: U42.5
LSU @ Alabama
By far going to be the most watchable game of the weekend.
A lot of people counted out Alabama early on, but in true Nick Saban fashion.. They’re still here and still have a great path to the CFP.
If you strictly look at records, you would have already counted out LSU being a 2 loss team. But some can argue that LSU still has a great path to CFP.
Those two paths cross this weekend & one path will be closed come Saturday night.
LSU is ADDICTED to the over. They are 8 to 0 in over/unders this season. Give me points and HAMMER the over.
Pick: O61.5
Rapid Fire Picks
These are some picks that I am less passionate about, but I can’t stay away from the CFB slate this weekend. 3 winners right here either way.
Oklahoma @ Oklahoma State
Pick: Oklahoma State +5.5
ND @ Clemson
Pick: ND -3
Kansas @ Iowa State
Pick: Kansas ML
