Big O’s NFL Week 10 Picks

I started off the NFL season strong & now I am struggling to break .500 on my NFL picks

I am one more .500 week from shutting down operations at FTS Gambling. I about did it this week (listen here).

Vegas is absolutely dialed in on the NFL at this point. A ton of games in the 1.5-3 range for the spread. At this point, it’s just about picking who you think will win or just teasing the lines.

You might’ve seen some of these picks already from our “friendly” snake draft competition.

49ers -3 @ Jaguars

People are down on the 49ers after dropping 3 Ls in a row heading into the bye week.

Just 5 weeks ago, everyone was booking them to win the Super Bowl after dog walking the Cowboys.

But here we are with podcasts like Inside the Tank asking the question: “Is Brock Purdy Broken?!”

It’s seems like the 49ers will see the return of some key pieces for this one.

I think the Jaguars hype train needs to slow down just a tad. They’ve had a pretty easy schedule that included the London 2 week boost. Give me Shanahan and give me MVPurdy.

Colts -1.5 @ Patriots (Germany)

Disclaimer: I am a sick, broken Colts fan

The Patriots stink. Mac Jones is a joke and Billy B is sneaking around Nantucket on some Ring cameras, allegedly.

Although Gardner is an absolute pain to watch after the early hopes of Anthony Richardson, he isn’t Mac Jones bad.

When you look at the Colts season, they have been in pretty much every game minus the Jaguars game on the road. A couple tweaks here and there & a officiating crew who isn’t on Browns payroll.. you could be looking at a 2-3 loss team. But that’s the NFL for ya.

Outside of my obvious bias for the Colts, there is one driving factor that makes this bet an absolute LOCK.

Rumors are floating that if Billy B doesn’t come home with a win, he could be fired.

How true are these rumors you ask? I’ll let you be the judge. But there are rumors & for this to be a LOCK, I am saying they are true.

There is no denying the history between the Colts franchise & Billy B. He has terrorized us for years. We have heard about how great he is & can thank him on multiple occasions for why the Colts don’t have more than 1 Super Bowl. HE IS THE REASON WE WERE 2014 AFC CHAMPIONSHIP PARTICIPANTS

If Jim Irsay has any idea of these rumors, he better be in the trenches with the boys this week. He better have them dialed in. Now is the time to have the final word for Billy B. Hammer it, lock it in, be irresponsible. Roll Horse.

Titans +1.5 @ Buccaneers

Finally Tannehill has been dethroned by the mayo coffee boy, Will Levis.

Levis is still early on & will for sure have his growing pains. But he provides more promise than old man Tanney.

This Titans team has been impossible to figure out. One week they look like they could sneak in the wild card, the next they look like they will be giving equity to Caleb Williams in May. So this bet is a little bit of a leap of faith for me.

The reason I love this bet.. there is this QB named Baker Mayfield. He has his flashes, he has his promises for the future and then it all just hits the fan.

This bet is that it hits the fan this week.

Texans @ Bengals O47

No big deal. Just two Ohio State quarterbacks battling it out.

CJ Stroud has been the talk of the town. Almost a LOCK for OROY & sneaking into the MVP conversation after last week’s performance.

With how Stroud is playing, I fully expect the Texans to put points on the board. I am counting for at least 21 from them in this one.

Now for the other OSU QB.. Joe Burrow is BACK.

He has been showing the world that when he is healthy, he is the conversation for best QB in the league.

So all this tells me is that this game is going to be FULL of points.
