It’s conference championship weekend. I should be in Lucas Oil Stadium watching the Buckeyes take down the Iowa Hawkeyes. But no, my team likes to lose to their rival!

Pac-12 Championship

Oregon -9.5 v. Washington – O/U 65.5

Most would’ve laughed at this line after the barn burner in October. 

Oregon is on a tear since losing to Washington… against a bunch of pop warner teams! Meanwhile, Washington has made games too close for comfort against similar opponents.

While I think Oregon will win this one, I don’t think it’s going to be more than a one score game. 

Washington is very capable of big plays & im betting on that in a few ways here.

I expect a close, high scoring game. LFG

Big 12 Championship

Texas -14.5 v. Oklahoma State – O/U 54.5

Snooze. Texas is the most boring top 8 team in the CFP. 

Cool. I’m sure McConaughey will be on the sideline sharing a story about how he kicked his old man’s ass back in 1982 to a crowd of people who could care less. 

This is purely selfish and purely emotional.

Give me the dog in this one. The one with a cool coach. Not the one with a douchebag at the helm

The Pick: Oklahoma State +14.5

SEC Championship

Georgia -5.5 v. Alabama – O/U 54.5

What’s that? Nick Saban isn’t the top coach in the SEC/CFB anymore? 

Remember who gave birth to you Kirby. Sure you’ve had his number in the past few matchups, but I don’t think that’s sitting well for the GOAT.

Yes, Bama almost lost to Auburn. Should’ve lost. But it’s not like Georgia was that impressive against Georgia Central High School last week.

I put no weight into last week for either team. You can’t. It’s a clean slate this week.

I’m making a bet here that believes the old man wants one last shot at the new shiny toy. Wants to end the mini-dynasty run.

Big Ten Championship

Michigan -21.5 v. Iowa – O/U 34.5

Nope. Not doing it. Sorry. 

The Pick: Not watching this

ACC Championship

Florida State -2.5 v. Louisville – O/U 47.5

Florida State should’ve lost last week. With a quadruple targeting late in the game, the Noles got a second chance and won.

Listen. If Jordan Travis were here, I’d be all in on FSU. They’d be my rooting interest for the CFP since the Buckeyes can’t get it done.

But he’s not. & there’s rumors that Tate Rodemaker might be out as well?

Louisville. The world needs you. Absolutely no one outside of FSU fans wants to see this team in the CFP. But if they win, they’re in.

Do this for us. Do this for college football.

What a CFB regular season it has been. A ton of wins & almost an equal amount of losses. But this is why we do it. Do you really want to sit here on conference championship and not bet these games?
