How in the Hell is it week 13 already? Better question… Have you been tailing the boys and making money with us all season?

We’ve been on a heater recently. The last 5 weeks we’ve been hitting at a 69% clip (68.5 to be exact which isn’t nearly as fun) on our weekly NFL picks.

As a reminder, Owen and I do a weekly draft of our favorite favorite, top dawg, over, and under. It’s a snake draft with the first pick alternating each week. We keep a running score and the winner at the end of the year gets a jersey courtesy of the loser.

Let’s get into the picks.

Pick #1 – Matt – Bengals/Jags U38

Monday Night Football unders have been easy money for Owen this season. So I cucked him and took the play before he could get his grimy little hands on it. This all but guarentees that the tides will turn and it will be a shoot out because that is how the gambling world works.

The Bengals offense looks rather rough without Burrow so I would expect this to be a lower scoring affair with the Jags pulling the weight in the scoring department.

Pick #2 – Owen – Eagles +3

Eagles are in a TOUGH stretch of games here & this might be the toughest challenge yet. But they’ve continued to impress and battle till the end.

49ers have bounced back against a couple cupcakes. Congrats.

Give me the home team. The battle tested team.

Pick #3 – Owen – Texans -3

I think I am addicted to betting the Texans. Stroud continues to impress & they’re just a fun team to watch.

Broncos aren’t the same team that got 70 points hung on them. But the hype train stops here.

Lost the tweet that stated this, but teams who don’t cover in divisional matchups the week before are 16-7-1 ATS or something like that the week following.

Pick #4 – Matt – Colts -1

Colts travel to Nashville to take on their division rivals. But the Titans are not the team that has given Indy fits in the past and the Colts are in a prime position to improve their playoff chances. The schedule is pretty cupcake for the Colts to finish out the season and I think they start off this final stretch with a win against the Titans on the road.

Pick #5 – Matt – Jets +2.5

The Falcons have not faced off against a defense like the Jets all year and I think it could be turnover city for Desmond Ritter. I know, I know. It’s Tim Boyle and that abysmal offense on the other side of the ball, but I think they’ll be blessed with solid field position and be able to get the run game going against that mid tier falcons rushing defense.

Note: Owen was a soy boy and was too scared to let me take Denver +3 in a head to head so I had to pivot to the Jets. This is not an excuse but the readers deserve to know that Owen is soft.

Pick #6 – Owen – Colts/Titans O42.5

First glance, this total looks like an easy under.. but not so fast my friend.

Colts are frisky & quietly one of the highest scoring teams in the league this year.

Titans have a pulse at QB & someone who feels “wronged” by the Colts for passing on him to snag AR (Thank the Lord)

I think this will be a close but high scoring game that could creep into the 50+ total range.

Pick #7 – Owen – Chiefs/Packers U42.5

Matt put on a masterclass this week. Instead of just letting me make the laziest pick every single week with the 13-1 unders, he decided to use #1 to end my streak.

Sticking with a prime time under here though with Sunday Night Football.

Chiefs have a lot of games with 21 points or less scored.

Packers, on the other hand, looked impressive on Turkey Day. But I think it was a fluke.

Give me a 21-10 Sunday Night Snoozefest.

Pick #8 – Matt – Dolphins/Commanders O49.5

49.5 feels like a lot, but the total has gone over 49.5 in 4 of the last 5 games for the Commanders. They even gave up 31 to Tommy Devito. I would assume that the Dolphins can match that type of scoring and then some.

Tua will tear up this terrible Commanders defense and put up 40+ with the Commanders covering the balance in the low teens.

Wrapping Up

I’ll be enjoying the NFL slate from a conference booth in Texas. I’ll likely have some games up on my phone but will be wheeling and dealing with prospects for the day.
