Week 17 is a disgusting thing to write. All the excitement around the playoffs is overshadowing the fact that the NFL regular season is nearly complete.

What the Hell will I do without football! Exercise? Learn valuable skills? Focus on my day job? No thank you.

Let’s not wish away time. Let’s enjoy every last second of these last two regular season weeks.

Owen and I have the picks to get us in the green. As always, we snake draft our weekly picks featuring one favorite, one under dawg, an under, and an over.

Let’s begin.

Pick #1 – Owen – Cowboys -6

After suffering back to back road losses, they return to Jerry World. Do you know what the Boys do at Jerry World?

They win & they win big.

Pick #2 – Matt – Packers/Vikings U46

The two NFC North teams face off for the second time this season. In their first matchup, the Vikings held the Packers to 10 points.

Both teams are fighting for a chance at post season football and a win gets them one step closer.

I expect a tightly contested game with the packers edging out a close win on the road to get to 8-8. My model (literally just guessing) has this game at 21-17.

Pick #3 – Matt – Falcons/Bears O38

38 points felt awfully low for this matchup. The Bears have been playing much better football as of late and Fields has a two game season to prove he’s the guy for next year.

Would be shocked if this goes under 38. My model (still just a random guess) has this at 27-21 with the Bears on top at home.

Pick #4 – Owen – Colts/Raiders O43.5

Colts return home in the most important stretch of the season after getting their ass handed to them on Christmas Eve…. And the Raiders are good?

Colts love nothing more than putting up 20+ points & giving up 20+ points. I’m just expecting a points fest in this one

Pick #5 – Owen – Falcons +3

I just watched this team kick the Colts ass & look like a playoff threat with Ole Heineckie at QB.

Don’t think anyone knows what to think of this team, but I’m letting recency bias creep in against the Bears.

Bears need to lose for draft purposes. Pack it up.

Pick #6 – Matt – Rams -5.5

I’m all in on the Rams. Stafford is balling out and making throws that seem impossible. Puka ROY SZN is on the line as he looks to break the record.

Rams offense will be on fire against the Giants who do not have much to play for these last couple weeks.

My model (yes, just random numbers still) has this at 31-10 Rams.

Pick #7 – Matt – Lions +6

Owen spent his first pick on Dallas -6 and I’m spending my last on Lions +6. This is a HUGE matchup that could determine the #1 overall seed in the NFC.

The Cowboys have been lights out at home this year, but there is some magic around this Lions team after they secured their first ever NFC North title.

Give me a classic “Oh the Cowboys aren’t a serious contender” performance on Sunday with them dropping 3 straight.

Pick #8 – Owen – Giants Rams U44.5

Rams are cooking & I fully expect them to keep cooking in this one.

But I expect absolutely nothing out of the football Giants. They’re dead. They’re in football hell.

Give me a 35-6 type game here
